Nanofiltration Technology

Description
  • Purpose: The nano-filtration technique, which is fabricated to be a solar based filter has the ability to remove dissolved contaminants from water including Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) and it also ensures the safety of drinking water by removing bacteria, viruses, and other pathogens from water. It is a versatile and effective filtration process which is widely used in several industries including water treatment, pharmaceutical, food and beverage,
  • Functioning: We designed the system for recovery rate of treated water, 80% and the system performance verified the spec. laid out as we installed the system in 5 geography and performance of the system is satisfactory as per the specifications laid out
  • Executive Summary: The nano-filtration system is an innovative, solar-powered hybrid water purification technology designed to provide clean and safe drinking water by efficiently removing Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), bacteria, viruses, and other pathogens. With its high retention efficiency and environmentally friendly design, the technology addresses critical challenges related to water scarcity, health improvement, and sustainable energy usage. Its robust performance and versatility make it suitable for applications in water treatment, pharmaceutical, food, and beverage industries. This technology stands out with a recovery rate of 80%, surpassing conventional Reverse Osmosis (RO) systems, which typically have higher rejection rates. Offered in three capacity models (500 LPH, 1000 LPH, and 1500 LPH), it is competitively priced, balancing affordability and superior functionality. The system’s solar integration further reduces operational costs and contributes to reducing greenhouse gas emissions. The technology has demonstrated strong market potential, with successful implementation in regions like Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, and Haryana. It has also generated direct and indirect employment opportunities, particularly for marginalized communities. Furthermore, the system aligns with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) such as Good Health and Well-being (SDG-3), Clean Water and Sanitation (SDG-6), and Affordable and Clean Energy (SDG-7). To scale this technology, strategic initiatives include expanding into new regions, forming partnerships with government and corporate stakeholders, diversifying product offerings, and enhancing awareness through targeted campaigns. By leveraging these strategies, the nano-filtration system has the potential to become a transformative solution for ensuring water security, promoting environmental sustainability, and improving community health at a national scale.
